What happens at a Vegas-style party doesn’t stay at the party!
Especially when the host is television honcho Ben Silverman!
The NBC Entertainment/Universal Media Studios cochairman threw a pre-Emmy casino-themed party last night until the wee hours. And Silverman dressed the part—he wore a mirrored suit!
Here's what went down, according to a partygoer:
The bash took place in the Mount Olympus neighborhood of L.A. in a private rented estate that has previously been used as the temporary home of the members-only Soho House club during Oscar time.
Guests included Paris and Nicky Hilton, David Spade, Rob Morrow and several cast members of The Office. Many were shuttled to the house from a pickup point in West Hollywood.
Black carpeting was rolled out to cover the outdoor spaces, while red was used inside. Disco balls were hung over the bars and dance floor. At check-in, each guest was given an envelope full of fake money for gambling, including blackjack and Texas hold ’em.
Nicky Hilton was spotted playing Texas hold 'em with Joshua LeBar, who plays Josh Weinstein on Entourage, for at least an hour. "LeBar kept winning the pot," the partygoer said.
While Paris and Nicky were spotted leaving at about 4:30 am, I’m told many other guests didn’t take off for at least another hour.
