Pete Doherty And Courtney Love Share 'Tender Kiss'
Where there’s smack and crack, Courtney Love usually has to stick her deformed nose in (figuratively of course) so we were unsurprised to learn that the rock-wreck had paid a visit to Pete Doherty in rehab.
The self-destructive pair bonded in the unlikely setting of a Wetherspoons pub over a Meal Deal.
A source describes the meeting of kindred spirits to the Daily Star: “Pete respects Courtney for the struggle she’s faced, one that, like his, seemed insurmountable.
“He’s turning a corner now. And chatting to one of rock’s great survivors is a great help and inspiration for him. They had a brilliant talk.
“Pete was even allowed a pass out to take Courtney to Wetherspoons for a coffee and a meal deal.”
So is there anything more to this unholy union than one (former) drug-addict helping another?
The source continues: “It was touching to see them share a tender kiss after the visit. It’s too early to say if it could be romance as the smacker was of the friendly sort.
“But these two are both musicians, both self-destructive and rather poetic.”
Pete probably took one look at that and reached straight for the crack pipe.
