Last night, TMZ cameras caught a shapely, primped-out platinum blonde in a snug black dress, flanked by tall men in dark suits and whisked away by a mega-SUV with tinted windows and big chrome rims.

Paris? No. Hayden? Nope. It's Gummi Bear Virgie!

C'mon, people, we're talking about none other than Virgie Arthur, Anna Nicole Smith's mother, who showed up to Rita Cosby's book party on the far west side of Manhattan looking like the aftershot in one of those cable makeover shows. Like her body?!

At her arrival, she managed to upstage author Cosby herself, distracting cams from catching Rita getting served with legal papers.

I thought this was over!

Date Finally Set for Daniel Smith Death Inquest

A date has finally been set in the Bahamian inquest on the death of Daniel Smith, Anna Nicole's son.

The inquest, which will begin October 30, will feature testimony from at least 35 witnesses, including Howard K. Stern.

Daniel, 20, died last September in Nassau, just three days after his mother gave birth to his half-sister, Dannielynn.

A private autopsy conducted by famed coroner Dr. Cyril Wecht found a multitude of drugs in Daniel's bloodstream, including methadone and anti-depressants.

The official inquest into Daniel's death has been repeatedly postponed.

Why can't Anna rest in peace?

Birkhead Blasts Cosby: Calls Book "Pure Fiction"

Larry Birkhead came out swinging tonight on CNN's "Larry King Live," telling TMZ's Harvey Levin that "Blonde Ambition," the new book by Rita Cosby, is "pure fiction" and should be sitting next to "Harry Potter."

Larry also responded to what Rita told FOX's Bill O'Reilly tonight, as to why the two former enemies now get along. Larry says he simply decided to put the best interests of his daughter first, so he buried the hatchet with Howard. Refuting what Rita claims in her book, Birkhead states flat out -- there were no secret deals between him and Stern.

Larry's bottom line -- he'll see Rita (and everyone else) in court.

Birkhead Accuser Hatten's a "Loser"

Larry Birkhead spat back at the woman who's claiming that he and Howard K. Stern were lovers, calling her a "loser" with a grudge.

According to the New York Daily News, Birkhead says that former pro volleyballer Jackie Hatten "isn't a credible source," and adds that she "tried to come to the Bahamas to see Anna last year and Anna wouldn't let her ... This book is coming from the losers club because they all have axes to grind."

Hatten's brother is Mark Hatten, who's sitting in a California prison for stalking Anna Nicole, and once claimed to be Dannielynn's daddy. Oddly enough, Jackie Hatten once said that she thought that Birkhead and Smith were "madly in love" after their first date. "They were trying to have babies the first day they met in my bed, okay?" she told Larry King back in February.
