Charlie Sheen's fiancée, Brooke Mueller, isn't quietly standing by after Denise Richards filed several claims in court denouncing Charlie as an unfit father. One of Denise's complaints was that Charlie and Brooke didn't tell the children, Sam and Lola, about their engagement, but instead let them find out through a television show. "That is 100 percent untrue," Brooke tells People. "Denise begged us on a few different occasions not to tell the girls we were engaged." As for e-mails from Brooke to Denise where she allegedly apologizes for Charlie's angry tirades, Brooke believes the e-mails were edited by Denise. "It's a shame that Denise conveniently edited my e-mail correspondence to serve her own interests," says Brooke. "She would be both mortified and embarrassed if I released any one of her 40 e-mails to me. But she knows my character and humanity and knows that I would never do such a thing... Denise's claims are laughable at best."
